Looks amazing.
Seems to work well for new metal if you follow the instructions, the acid etch creates a light layer of rust when you rinse it off and dry it. It has worked well for me.Interesting, I’ve always thought POR only stuck to rust for rust conversion
Looks like you lathered her up with baby oil. These kind of pics should only be shown in the FJ60 porn thread.View attachment 2885197
Got it all cleaned up and ready for mall crawlin.
Man on the last nv4500 i plugged that hole with a FIPG'ed pipe plug and there still seems to be a mysterious leak somewhere from itPulled the transmission to have it rebuilt. The last picture shows a built in leak point in the AA adapter for the NV4500 so going to try and seal that up this time.

So far ive tried lots of rtv but it never seems to work. I think maybe running a longer bolt with a high crown cap nut with a crush washer on the back. Something like this. The pipe plug works really well. Its NPT thread, or at least should be. I had to use a tap on mine to cut the threads. When i split the adapter to look for the leak, that hole was bone dry on mineSo far ive tried lots of rtv but it never seems to work.
