Most of them I fully weld but can’t always get 100% so I use seam sealer and filler where necessary.

Dash is complete except for a few switch blanks. I still have to wire the rear lights and reverse switch, random interior bits like door latches, the last mechanical bit to do is having the driveshaft shortened.

Made a lot of progress over the weekend. Nearing the finish line now. Got the lights wired up, tuned the horn, got all the door latches and hardware installed. Went for the first test drive and all seems good.

first road trip on the new setup, about 350 miles. The new rad fan keeps blowing fuses and not working so the heater stays on.
At least were having semi cool weather right now.
I’ve used Bosch glow plug relays as my means to power my fans with great luck.
are you putting por 15 over new metal here?

Yeah. I use the acid etch metal prep stuff for the new metal and it works well with por.
