This more power puller sort of functions as a winch that can pull from the back or sides of a vehicle…or affixed to a tree/boulder in order to pull a tree or other item out of a trail.

In practice, it’s mostly been useful, to me, for moving trees or other heavy landscape items…I haven’t used it Offroad that I can recall.

That said, it seems very versatile and I’ve wanted a way to stow it safely for a while (I purchased it for a previous vehicle that didn’t have the means of installing an electric winch)…it’s so heavy and clunky, though, that if it soared around the interior of a vehicle during an accident, it could be deadly.

I looked around and couldn’t find an appropriate means of “mounting/stowing” it outside of a vehicle online.

I don’t weld…if I did there would be more elegant solutions to getting this stored on my vehicle.

However, If you have an arb or ironman front bumper (or any other appropriately sized flat of steel on the outside of your vehicle), you can store/mount a more power puller with 2 holes drilled, a u bolt, a flat bit of steel (upper bracket), a piece of rubber (as a pad underneath) and a little square of steel (as a “leveler” for the back)…you could substitute a normal rather than u bolt, but getting to the bottom of that bolt to hold it steady to torque is difficult inside the bumper.

It takes a little finagling, but the u bolt will fit from underneath.
