It needs a few things before its drivable. I have a new carb that needs to be installed. Needs tires, exhaust and a battery.

I needs some rear light covers too. All the dash gauges are there. Ill know more once the battery is hooked up. It has only farm miles on it. Only been on pavement in Hawaii and down to the gas station. It was a farm truck and was used to plow a dirt rd.

Got to figure out how to change the thread title. Its a 1970 doh

Very cool. Doesn't look bad at all.

Does it run?

Do all the mechanical work before you worry about light covers, OK?

Have fun with it.

Brakes and steering first. Everything else is secondary.

edit--Looking more closely at your pictures, it doesn't need light covers, it needs lights. Those are not stock and look, well, like cr@p. Fortunately, the lights you need are still stocked by Toyota and are not that expensive.

I'm having someone do the mechanical stuff for me. Hopefully they will go through it this week. Brakes, carb, exhaust, tires. Hopefully not much else. I would like to have it running soon.

Do you have pics of the engine bay? Does it have a booster dual master? I think that started around end of '70 / '71.

Lots of stuff can still be found at Toyota, which is pretty cool.

Edit: Odd, it looks like the kept your column shifter in place, but added a floor shifter...(column shifter is cool because it frees up leg room for the front center passenger) is the T-Case shifter still under the dash, right by your right knee?

Let the fun begin. I'm looking forward to before and after pictures.

Good luck with your 70.

Congratulations!

Now to work on that wiring before you have a fire...

Yep, like everone says...you have a good place to start. Good luck !

Thanks, John

Nice 40 congrats

Love the signature
