My dealer quoted me $97 for a 2.5L can but they said I would have to order two… ouch
Found 2.5L cans can be bought only for $42 + $15 shipping from Lakeland Toyota which upon checkout landed me on a Toyota Parts Overstock site. Haven’t received a confirmation email yet after ordering an hour ago so not yet confident the transaction will go through and that part will arrive. We will see.
I just bought two 2.5L cans from McGeorge Toyota for $106.40 shipped. Will be here tomorrow.
That’s a totally fine reasonable price. $22/l is less than I paid at the Lexus parts counter a couple years ago.
My local dealer just called and surprisingly got a shipment of the 2.5L metal cans, so it looks like the back order backlog to dealers is being resolved. I went ahead and bought a can while I wait on the stuff from Dubai.
Given the mostly mineral oil and lubricating oil composition (thanks to the earlier posted MSDS), would a can of AHC fluid go bad similar to brake fluid after opening or do we think it has a longer shelf life after opening? I’m going to have 7.5L on-hand soon and trying to decide if I flush that amount or keep some around.

I just bought two 2.5L cans from Westside Lexus in Houston for $155. Looks exactly like the old Japanese cans that got discontinued a while ago. Asked for a discount since I had purchased some bad fluid, and figured it would be easier to return locally if it was contaminated.
It’s like Christmas!
How do we know it’s good?
I poured ~32oz out into a clear container and inspected for any foreign objects and the fluid was as clear as could be. I also left the filter in the reservoir neck just in case.
I've driven this new to me 2019 LX570 for a few weeks now. I'm surprised there was not more on here about how the AHC changes with the "Drive Modes" and is actually VERY VERY GOOD at limiting body roll (sway) and it turns the LX into a tightened down, very direct SUV on smooth roads, it's ability to control body roll is excellent!
I liked the LX for it's capability and dependability, and was ready to fully compromise for that floating feeling that trucks can give, but I really like it's behaviour on a smooth freeway in sport or Sport + drive mode. The "Chassis" setting in "Sport" mode combined with "Powertrain" in "Eco" is confidence inspiring for high speed Cruising, and feel very good when making balance changes. It's not the Adaptive Damping in my Alfa Romeo, but it is really very good.

I'm not sure what you mean about lack of conversation. AHC's primary function is dynamic spring rate and shock valving. The lifting and lowering is really just a bonus benefit that comes along with AHC's primary capability.
Probably less conversation because anytime someone starts to talk about AHC here, every thread degrades to comparing it to KDSS (which the two aren't even really comparable since one is a sway bar "controller" and the other is a full suspension system).
I agree with your comments on AHCs ability to limit roll (and brake dive). For as large and heavy of an SUV, it really does do a commendable job.
Great at managing dynamic loads either in cornering or off-road, keeping posture tidy and the tires in contact with the road. While keeping that supple level of compliance for passenger comfort. I was just mobbing it out in the dessert washes yesterday mixing it up with my buddies new '22 and it was great fun. Had a passenger with me and he was surprised at the control and comfort level, asking what kind of aftermarket suspension I had. Stock, but 35s also makes for great suspension.
Well this is very disappointing, after not receiving any e-mail confirmation of my online order to Lakeland Toyota, I called. They confirmed they received my order but then told me they don’t ship liquids and will need to void my order.
Pretty frustrating customer service if you ask me. I suggested they probably should update their website.

Had an interesting experience at the local dealer yesterday with my 2020 AHC LC200.
Took it in for the first major service (40k km) and the vehicle was lifted on a hydraulic jack to do all the oil changes (both diffs, t-case, engine oil...etc.) and was left up for about 1.5 hours. I did not disable AHC but the truck was turned off prior to lifting. Once the job was done, I went to receive the truck and found it already running.
The AHC setting was at "N" height, while visually the truck was sitting low (as if it were in "L" height). Although I can hear the AHC pump humming, it was not raising the truck for the first minute or so. I asked the tech about this, and he commented it was normal for the pump to take some time to re-pressurize after staying up on the jack.
I drove around and it drove stiff on the speed bumps at any speed. 20 minutes later, I stopped and cycled all heights for some time, and it seemed to get better gradually. 10 minutes after that, it felt back to normal.
Being a noob on AHC, I'm curious if this is this considered normal behavior?
