Sorry if this has been covered. But I can’t find anything and have been looking and looking for this info and can’t seem to come up with anything. 95 percent sure my pump is toast. No leaks, still need to put direct power to pump to test it. Simply asking can I buy new pump and install and bleed system? Do I need to hook up to computer to program anything?

I don’t anyone has been successfully able to repair the pump. Do you think there was debris that clogged the pump?
Also, did you figure how much tariffs will be assessed?

That's what I think, I think it's clogged. I haven't received it yet. I just ordered it.

I replaced my AHC pump a little while ago and it was pretty simple assuming that you are familiar with bleeding the system. The most difficult part was removing inside fender trim and plastic parts to access the pump.

I put my vehicle in low before starting but I'm not sure if that was necessary. Very little fluid came out when I opened the line at the pump and it was definitely not under pressure.

To prime the new pump I put some fresh fluid into the reservoir and removed the rubber plug. Fluid immediately started oozing out and I hit it with a quick 12volts to confirm that it would pump.

Bleeding was as usual and I did not bleed the 5th accumulator. Here's a tip. Use a crowfoot socket on the rear bleeder valves. Just make sure to use a breaker bar instead of a ratchet so you can easily open and close the valve.

I want to thank the engineers at Toyota for providing two hooks to hold the whole unit into place while you button it up.

I paid ¥114,900.00 plus shipping to JDM Planet in February 2025 so the price might have gone down a bit.
I had a good experience with jdm planet with globes. I have posted the jdm planet for pump numerous times. So All I f my experience before tarriffs.

I have ordered from impex japan and good experience if u are patient. It takes them a month to ship sometimes. So I am curious if tariff are due on arrival or included in price.

I think it's due on arrival. I ordered few suspension parts for my ls430 from Japan. I didn't get hit with tariff.
