So I might be able to get the full sandalwood trim set including doors and shifter, vents, heater control unit, radio surround and clock (basically the whole centre section including brackets minus the doubledin radio) out of a sahara for 1000aud or 670usd, is this good value? Im thinking this is the next best option now the original parts are unavailable. I have tried to find the lexus parts secondhand but to no avail.
Nice find, I know you said the whole center section.. make sure it includes all the a/c amps etc… that’s a great price considering those parts new were over $3000? I can’t remember what I paid but it wasn’t cheap

the back would look like this. The ac amp and hvac circuit boards are housed in the upper black plastic piece in the top of this picture.
This is what a whole assembly looks like from the back, although it's upside down.
The real lexus parts would have been around 2300usd, probably more, in 2018.
You should buy it. What makes it valuable is the lower hvac plastic cover + two lower circuit boards, and to a lesser extent, the ac amplifier that costs over 650usd all by itself.
There's probably 20 people that would buy this at triple that price all day long.

That's not the stock fan. I don't think a stock nav screen has a fan. The stock non nav stereo probably doesn't either. This is a pioneer in the pic.

OH!

Cool thankyou, Honestly I would have preferred the original lexus solution regardless of cost, but given its no longer possible at least with this option I can keep the original woodgrain look.

I have confirmed, and I should be getting the entire assembly as per your picture, excluding the radio. Plus all other sandalwood trim panels. Time to read up properly on the conversion process.

Does any one happen to have a 88650-60B80 AC Amplifier they would sell me? Thank you!

EDIT: I found one!

So I just purchased a late 2006 LX. How do we get Toyota/Lexus to start making these parts again? Seems as most everything has dried up!

So I've been trying to get the AC amp and its unobtanium it seems. Still need to get my money back from SSIG Asia, anyone have a lead? I was wondering if Dubai Junkyards for similar vintage LC might be an option?

I have a spare AC amp available - Part # 88650-60821. I'm located in GA.
