And a belle view winch and an upside down bezel.

The more I look at it the better it looks, body doesn't look to bad at all, but I guess you never know what is hiding under that ugly blue paint :o

For 10k starting bid there better be nothing but hand welded steel under there.

yes that price is ridiculous.... If the body is truly solid, I could see 5-7k

The owner was nice enough to send some pics of the heater and it is a clam shell..... also original dome light(which I really need)

But check out this crazy shifter arrangement! Very homebrew/ farm enginnering. My guess is you shift with the big lever and pull the smaller to switch gear sets..... crazy

It does look really nice, hopefully the antenna through the roof was sealed correctly. If not the carpet padding on the roof will be like a giant sponge, soaking the roof and gutters from the inside.

Yep. Mine has had an antenna base fitted in the roof that let water in. The result is a good roof skin but the inside frame is falling to pieces from rust on an otherwise solid vehicle. I'm going to have remove the skin and rebuild the whole inside frame:eek::crybaby:

Hi! I have been looking a this FJ45 Owners Club Forum for a number of years now, but never registered until now.

I live in Bogota, Colombia and I have a 1961 Toyota FJ45LV that was my grandpa´s since new. He passed away a couple of years ago, but the FJ remained in the family. It has never been restored, but it also has never stopped working since it was bought new. For some 20 years or so, it was only used on weekends by my grandfather to go from the city, to his country house, about 60 miles apart. So in those 20 years, it only did around 100k miles, and was inside the garage the rest of the time. In total, it has less than 300k original miles.

A couple of minor things were changed along the years (the interior and exterior colors, were changed a couple of years after it was bought, in the 60´s, taillight, rear view mirrors, front turning lights, that I can remember). This was 1 out of 20 trucks made by Toyota, for the Colombian Cundinamarca State Electricity Company, but then, that company sold it brandnew, before it was even registered, to my grandpa, so it was never used by anyone else but him (he did´t even let any of his sons or doughters to ever drive it), and he was the only registered owner ever, until his death. Originally it was factory painted with the electricity company´s color, and also, it had an upgraded tailgate, specially requested by the colombian company, in order to be more sturdy, since it was going to be used in very harsh environments. You can see some pictures of it, as it is rightnow, and also some other old pictures of it in the 70s, and 80s, in my fb album. Any comments, sugestions, questions, etc., will be apprecieted.
