Is an LTO a good replacement for a Deep-cycle battery?

price is almost the same between them wondering if its really an upgrade if I switch.

I currently have Northstar Group 24 Deep Cycle

A 6 amp hour battery? That's basically nothing.

A 57# 6aH battery?
Gotta be a typo. 76aH stated separately.

edit:and yes, it seems like an option for deep-cycle purposes. I use AGM's for the same purpose. So far so good.

so apparently LTO and AGM have different discharge rates so just the Ah rating alone is not enough to justify which battery is better I guess it all comes down to purpose

probably a typo on the website I also looked at the other LTO batteries in their XV line and they all show 6Ah.... I would assume the bigger the battery the more AH.

I sent them an email to verify

ok so to my understanding and yes they are rated differently.

AGM has only about 45-50% useable power
LTO has about 90-100% useable power

they do list the LTO as Ah to Lead Acid cell equivalents as
Ah Pb Eq 20

I found more helpful info in this thread. I could still build my own for a much cheaper
