Hi

I am looking for an external molle that does not require drilling that can go over the outside of the rear sliding windows. Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks

No spork. a gas tank. I dont want to buy a $1000+ rack / rear bumper then some fancy attachments that will never be used just to carry around gas. Looking for something a little more simple.
Gonna mount a spork or something?

We aren't tacoma / r4unner people...

I have not seen anything like this but if you want something no drill that will hold the weight of a fuel can you are probably going to want to attach it to the rain gutter with some sort of clamp like a roof rack would use. The bottom end could probably get away with 3M body tape (the stuff used to hold badges etc on new vehicles) to keep it from bouncing around.

Was thinking similar, but no way I'd trust any tape to secure a gas can to the outside of the vehicle.

You're dealing with a decent chunk of weight. Fluids potentially sloshing around.
Dynamic forces imparting tortional loads in normal driving. Not to mention the forces involved in an accident.

In my vision the panel would have to be secure without the use of the tape and it is simply to prevent the panel from rubbing on the body and damaging it. I have not looked hard enough at this to know if it would work or not.

You'd probably have to have something built. There are panels for Land Rovers like this, but I believe they are all screwed on or have dedicated mounting points built in. Have you looked a gull wing replacements for the rear windows? Maybe one of those could have a rotopax mount added to it?

I have not looked into gull wings. But i will thx

Just take @nukegoat idea and put fuel bladders in the doors.

I haven't seen anything like what you're wanting that doesn't involve no-drilling. You'd have to remove the windows and modify the frames, then reinstall, or like stated above, somehow mount it to the rain gutter.

Doesn't Range Rover have a fuel can attachment for over the rear windows?

I would also look into what the Jeep folks have and how they are attached. I'm sure if they exist, Jeepsters have them.
