Wanted: Standard cab Tacoma
I am looking for a good deal on a standard cab Taco for a project truck.
Would prefer '02/'03 body style with more modern front end styling.
4wd preferred, but 2wd will do for the right price.
Can have frame rust, can be wrecked, can have serious mechanical issues!
Looking to spend a max of 3500.

'97 locked 80, has engine issues, relatively clean, lifted, dual battery, clean title.
I bought this on CL in March for $2000, paid to have it delivered, and it's been sitting in my shop (and in my way) since.
I'd hate to part it out, but will do so unless I can get $2500 for it.
Previous owner stated his wife was driving on highway, oil light came on, it started clanging and then stopped running. He confessed that he never checked fluid levels for the year he had it.
It starts and runs now, but the engine is clattering away. I have not diagnosed the exact cause.

Got a few parts to sell. Im In lancaster and have the following
FJ80 High pinion 3rd 8" non elocker. I believe it to be 4.10 out of a ABS axle. I know of nothing wrong with it. It "feels ok" when I turn it by hand. $100
FJ80 Inner axle shafts for front axle. 1 short side and 1 long side. perfect in every way. Stock shafts would make good spares $50 each.
IFS steering box. from my 86 4runner. works good no leaks. $50
IFS hub body's and spindles, $50
mini truck V6 brake calipers loaded with new pads $50

Cheap FJ80 here in PA- ex-John Merkey truck. All I did since I got it was clean it. Had been sitting on Rob's property for awhile and was crummy. For the price it's a complete running wheelable truck that needs a bit of attention. Here's my for sale blurb on MUD:
