Interested in a trade? I have an H42 4 speed out of a 1986 FJ60 with only 142K on it. Worked great when I removed it last November. Includes the shifter and fancy Toyota cardboard crate that @beno shipped my new H55 in!
Anyone looking to part with a pair of stock 62 third members? If so, please PM me and let me know what you have. I'm in the market for two third members with stock 62 gearing (4.10's), preferably freshly removed and lower mileage units.
I'm in NE PA and would prefer a semi-local (up to 250 miles) deal or Mudship.. PM me and let me know what you've got.

Not mine but price is right if the lockers work

Bought it! Now what???

Hmmmmmm:hmm:...many possibilities!

Good find Crusha!
Is it Locked?

:bounce:That's easy! Strip the body and interior and sell them to make your money back and then some. Sell the rest to me for a song! :grinpimp:

I want the rest to put a full aqualu 45 kit on it and have the most bad-a$$ pickup around! :steer:

While the capitalist pig in me likes this idea...I'm going to do something with it...to be determined...:hmm:

Factory lockers , OME lift, dual battery set-up, some other goodies as well.

Kid I bought it from, bought it from a dealer in Brooklyn. He let his girl drive it, never checked the fluids, low oil light came on while on the NJ turnpike...rattle, rattle, knock, knock...end of story.

I wish I knew it's history, I'd wager whoever built it was a MUD member.

Aaron @Pacer , I'm kind of leaning towards this option...first I need to get it back to the shop for a thorough going over, then decide what direction I want to go.:hmm:

That'll have to wait until Ben and I get back from Moab.:steer:

The four options I'm considering, in no particular order are:

1- Diesel Swap
2- Fix, or replace, engine and sell it (I have a complete spare in good running order)
3- Part it out, and keep a pile of spares for my '93 ( even though I already have a pallet rack full of parts from another '93 I parted)
4- Chop it , and shorten it for a trail only rig (highly unlikely, it's too clean, I'd feel guilty)

So, two options will fatten my wallet , and the other two will put it on a crash course diet :crybaby:

Decisions, decisions, decisions!

I vote for the engine replacement and resell it. You can pocket the cash and buy another RTT!:D:lol::D:lol:

@Stoshu, so over the RTT...it went to a good home.
However, I can always put my Tent Cot on the roof...:flipoff2:

Low Dollar RTT.webp

That looks like a sweet tent cot. I gotta get one of those.

Seriously though, @Yellow Jacket is on to something....

An oil burning Aqualu bodied FJ45 would be one KICK-A$$ rig on that platform!

Crusha think you can get that new 80 running well enough to blast around RC on saturday? I really want to go snow wheeling!!!

Nay, the truck is still in Jersey, and I'm flying to America's playground tomorrow...Detroit, for a vintage motorcycle auction in Ann Arbor. Rented a 26 ft box truck and intend on filling it!

Is it to soon to say in line for the lockers!?!?
