Looking at the body pictures, it does not seem easy or inexpensive at all to me. It appears that they are merely shells with no interior or any other parts. I can only begin to imagine how long a task it would be ....

What were the 79 series originally , 1HZ or the V6 petrol engines? The armoured troop carriers would have been nice with a Toyota V8 diesel.

I've built a lot of cars for a lot of clients over the years....building one of these for ME was the best thing I've ever built.

Setting aside the engine selection (Yota or GM) my current bucket list would have two rigs in the garage - my VJ73 and a 79 as above (Slee or C2D). Perfect and awe inspiring.
