I would definitely thin my current herd to own the dual cab ute.
In the event that only LHD units are available, could you relearn that style of vehicle operation? :)

I could spend a few days driving around the farm before I got out in traffic. : )

Just out of curiosity what does one of these units cost through slee? I can get my requested info in PM if it is not wanted to be shared on the forum. Also why is everyone doing the 79 pickup? Would a 76 series not work on the 80 series frame?

My assumption is essentially the old axiom "if you have to ask ...." :crybaby:

Its "a lot". :)

Kind of a relative term. My guess is that the variables might drive that number quite a bit - new/reman motor or salvor take-out, new/reman trans, etc.

I need to get a real job or something.....

We never set out to build this for a customer (in other words add up costs). However I can assure you it turned out not minimal since we decided to build it as a new truck, so virtually everything is new or reconditioned. Essentially a frame up. As Chris mentioned, start with a big check book. We are working on a new website and once it is done we will do a build thread. But I know to sell it, it would have to be north of $100k if you take all the time and costs involved into account.
