I should do the same on mine as it just hit 1k too. I have the fumoto valve already.
So I decided against using the valve until I have real skids. I’m not fond of how low the oil pan is compared to the 200s. Also the new sx valve is pointless, save the money and get the original style on the GX.I should do the same on mine as it just hit 1k too. I have the fumoto valve already.
I'll have my real skids around the time I do my first oil change in a week or 2.So I decided against using the valve until I have real skids. I’m not fond of how low the oil pan is compared to the 200s. Also the new sx valve is pointless, save the money and get the original style on the GX.
Maybe 2-3 inches above the bottom most plane of the crossmembers.I'll have my real skids around the time I do my first oil change in a week or 2.
Does the 3.4L oil pan sit pretty close to the bottom of the crossmember?
I thought the 2.4L was pretty high up there, along with the 3.4L in my Sequoia, which I put a Fumoto valve on last weekend.
Need to find a good source for Braid wheels stateside. Those wheels are money.
i have the 3.4 in my tundra, and yes..... 'wear' metals are notorious on these engines,Adding further, there were quite a bit of wear metals visible in the filter (and of course I failed to get photos).
Interestingly the truck is telling me my first oil charge is scheduled at 10,000miles; however the service internal in the warranty and maintenance manual recommends 5000 mile oil changes.
Tip, if you have some old garden hose it makes for a good filter drain hose to keep things tidy.

This is an interesting find. I’ll be pulling panels this weekend to find the circuit.

Is there a way to find the part number for this? I’d be interested in purchasing.some dealers in the GCC may equip the OE inflator; its not the same one in the new Tacoma though.

Nice I bought the same ones and size for my FE. Just waiting for it to actually arrive at dealer any day now? I have these same tires on my 88 FJ62 and love them. Great in all conditions and especially snow.New tires. Swapping tires completes the new 250. The stock Yokohama’s on the 1958 are severely lacking.
Toyo AT3 275/70R18
49lb per tire unmounted.

Not aggressive enough for my taste, the size of the tire looks like it’s better suited for a crossover, paper thin sidewall, extremely limited options in the original tire size. How did you feel they were 'lacking'?
