Went and picked up our 250. It really is basically the same proportions as the 80. The belt line is pretty much exactly the same. Nice job Toyota

Swapped on my KO2s. 275/70/18 for just a ‘bit’ more ground clearance.

And looky here, GX is indeed prewired for a tire inflator.

There appears to be a lot of space behind the driver side interior panel.

I would not be surprised that all trim levels have a wire harness for the on board air, why would toyota make different harnesses? It would be cheaper and easier to just have one harness for the whole GX line.

I have had mine for a few days. Besides feeling like a boomer with all the technology (coming from a 100 series) I am enjoying it.

Worked with my local Lexus dealership and paid MSRP and was able to delete most PIO I didn't want. I was #5 on the list and waited about a year after speaking with my dealer.

Twin!

Added fumoto F-133 valve. Be careful when removing the drain plug, the 0-20 weight oil comes out really fast.

Happy with them so far. Yes, they're 275/70R18 Load E. Was hesitant to go E rated but the ride isn't much different than the Geolandar X-CVs, surprisingly. It's a little harsher but I don't notice it much anymore after a few hundred miles. They ride nice and cushy aired down to 22-24 psi off road.

One issue so far is they seem hard to balance like the KO2s - there are a lot of weights stuck on some of the wheels, but I didn't hear the tire techs complain about it. I feel like I might have a slight out-of-balance issue with one of them, but haven't had a chance to take it in and have discount tire do a free balance check. A lot of weights on one of them shown here.

One other issue, that I don't really understand, is the TPMS reading seemed spot on with the stock tires, and now it reads about 3-4 psi lower than handheld pressure gauges. The TPMS system allows you to reset the desired psi so I just set it to 30 psi and don't have TPMS warning light issues. It's a little annoying but not a dealbreaker, and it seems that any non stock tire might encounter the same issue. Haven't seen any one else complain of this yet though. I'm a little OCD with tire pressures though, so maybe no one else notices.

-The KO3s lifted it 7/8" over the stock Geolandar 245s.
-Weight of Geolandars with stock wheel was 71 lbs. KO3s are now 91 lbs on stock wheel.
-MPG was reduced about 1mpg best I can tell. That's combined mpg with city, highway (not normal highway miles -- highway elevation changes from 6500' to 10,000' in SW Colorado) and offroad at 10,000' to 12,500' elevation. 20.1 mpg with stock tires. 19.2 mpg with KO3s. I've tracked all fill ups since purchase and that accounts for the odometer adjustment of the larger tires. This also includes the Front Runner Slimline II roof rack installed about halfway through the KO3s life on vehicle.
-Been through some rain with them and had zero traction issues. Tried to hit some standing water, but I really need to hit some large stretches of standing water to see how much they float at highway speeds. From some limited testing they seem to evacuate better than KO2s.
Update on balancing the KO3s. At the balance check, Discount Tire wanted to do a "road force balancing." Turned out that one of the tires had an issue and wouldn't balance correctly. Not sure why they didn't find that on the original install, but I ended up with a new KO3 that they replaced under BFG warranty. No hassles. The minimal vibration I was seeing/feeling initially, seems to have been alleviated. They also tweaked the balancing on the other three as well. The new tire has plenty of weights around the wheel just like the others.
