don't let that stop you from making an ignorant comment about the companies, products, or people who are there.
It's not terribly hard to figure out that the people out doing it in real life aren't the same people trailering show trucks to local fairgrounds. I'm sure both are fun for their respective audiences. They're just not the same audience despite using a lot of the same words. I think trade shows are cool. I just think it's kinda funny to have a trade show ostensibly for vehicles designed for comfortable long distance driving where they are towed to the show in a different vehicle that is apparently so much better for long distance driving that it's used instead.

It is similar to the significant number of motorcycles trailered to within the final 50 miles of Sturgis.

I trailer my Overland Rig to expos all the time…..

I assume you're going to go with a GX550 for the extra tow capacity to pull that right? I think the LC250 might pull it, but once you add the weight of the trailer you're going to be pushing the payload max.

I think it's an OEM Toyota aluminum bullbar for the Australian market.

Motor vehicles are evolving, just like they have been for at least 120 years. I bet a bunch of people bitched when the Ford Model A replaced the Model T. History repeats itself.

Get over it.

If I were selling spacer lifts - I'd trailer them too. I wouldn't sell spacer lifts. And I wouldn't trailer my overlander to an overland expo. But - I also wouldn't go to an overland expo. Obviously, we're on pretty opposite sides of this spectrum.
It's not your thing. Obviously...

Don't know anything about them but since they were mentioned. More details about wheel fitting at about 5:30

why does everyone think that you automatically have to slap on doosh wheels to go a up a tire size?

The "doosh" wheels are 17". Smallest you can get stock from Toyota are 18".

I normally don't like going with aftermarket wheels if I can help it, but the idea of 17" wheels is certainly appealing. Keeping my eye out for a more subtle design.

I'd assume some of the same challenges will apply for the LC250/GX550.

Someone needs to fill up a couple of shipping containers of these wheels - I wonder how they'd look on a 250.
