Does anyone have the KISS drawers installed with the attic shelf using the brackets from @Delta VS? I would like to add the drawers but I am concerned that I would loose to much usable vertical height in my cargo are if I did so.

The rack/brackets are just below the top of rear windows. Basically if you put a string line about 1/4 to 1/2" below the window gasket, that's farther down than the rack goes.

I think putting in an alum edge is a very good idea @PNWTreeOctopus I just couldn’t find it at the big box stores where I bought all the other accoutrements for finishing the project. Do you have any tips or links?

This is what I used: 3/4-in W x 1/2-in H x 4-ft L Mill Finished Aluminum Offset Angle 4' lengths. I bought mine at Lowes. I think given that so much is hard to get you could try ordering from McMaster Carr. They are prompt and professional. Amazon, could be great but it's rolling the dice.

Not yet, but I’ll copy yours! I have the LSO ratchet straps…they are ok. I thought I’d need the. Drawers to be easy to remove, but so far I’ve never taken them out. I’d rather have a system that doesn’t use straps under the wings. I loose space from the ratchet straps.

Yeah I have the LSO ratchet straps as well, however, my factory tie down hooks exist directly under the frame of the drawers (97LX450) so I can’t use the straps.

Me too. I bought a tie down and bolted it in. Meh. It works, but it’s not awesome. And let’s face it we need awesome.

It’s the project I’ve had the most fun with on my cruiser. Effort to satisfaction rate is very high.

I just made a deck to mount my fridge to and made it according to the dimensions of the drawer system. I have a few idea of what I want to do to the drawer once it arrives.

My cousin has a CNC for wood. Anyone know if the plans are available for sale? The Baltic birch is hard to come by but other materials are not as difficult.

EDIT: I realized this might be taken as an affront. I don't want to make these things nor take anything away from the vendor. I, too, am patiently waiting!

A very fun project to assemble. Not finished yet, but this kit is a purchase I am very happy with. Everything shipped safe and went together perfectly. It's well designed and updated since the original. Time over money over effort and supporting an excellent vendor, hands down makes this worth every penny.
