I've lurked here often, but finally registered today.
I have a very rusty and decrepit '76 FJ40 that is beyond use. I'm considering picking up another to start adventuring semi-remote areas.
I'm not looking for something in pristine, show room condition. I couldn't afford it anyway and I want to use it, not look at it.
Diesel seems to be a better option and I wouldn't mind a trip to Central America to drive something bank. I'm sure there are drawbacks to that, but the adventure seems a plus.
I look forward to the help I so often see offered here. I'm sure I'll need it.
