What was the thought behind the transmission cooler? Haven't seen you tow, but your rig is definitely heavy. Just curious what made you want to do it.
Rig is heavy. I do need a drain and fill. I haven’t been the best maintenance person/owner of this transmission 😑. So, better now than never to start taking care of it.

Prepped the GX for Overland Expo SoCal and when we got there, I parked next to this GX with a rear window decal that could offend some 😄. Also, my buddies IS500 looked so good next to the GX. Makes me want one 🫶🏽.

Had a blast at Overland Expo SoCal. Ran into friends and legends that I haven’t had the opportunity to meet. Did miss a lot of folks I wish I could have run into as well. Next time.

Went camping with the homies. My buddy Franklin’s 470 is ridiculous. He’s on RCLT HD as well, but he’s also 3 linked with coilover conversion in the rear. He’s also got a Campteq roof top tent conversion with 600ah of house battery!!! BTW, the camp chefs sous vide duck for 6.5 hours, to make Duck Queso Birria Tacos!!! Absolutely deliciously.

Went camping again the following week, but this time at a camp ground. Made rice with a rice cooker (nice to have my EcoFlow Delta 2 Max onboard, and grilled rib-eye steaks accompanied with cowboy butter. Finished our meals off with Dubai Chocolate Caramel Apples and a warm fire 🤌🏽.

My buddy Herb bought a fender from another Starfire Pearl GX owner named Chris, who was going Prado conversion and told me that he was selling a rear door for $400. Because mine was damaged from backing into a tree on Corral Hollow trail back in 2023, I decided to jump on the deal. Off to SoCal I went. Photos are from Facebook market and my current door.

Drove down to SoCal, and Chris along with his friend Fred (now my friends - the both of them) helped me remove the old door and install the new one. Chris even sold me a newer emblem for $50. Done!

pics of the 600ah battery set up in the 470? that’s a serious set up.
I’d have to ask him for it. I didn’t take any photos of it.

Removed my damaged Gamiviti roof rack feet and replaced them with the Rhino Rack Back Bone rails. Big thanks to my buddy Dylan for helping me with this.

What was wrong or what happened to the Gamiviti rack?
I've had his full length rack with my RTT on for over 7 years now and it's been awesome!
My only issues, and it's probably my fault is that I'm getting rust where I used SS hose clamps to mount my "awn-brella" PVC tube on the driver's side. The clamps went through the power coating to the raw metal, and now that's rusting.
I'm probably going to be needing a new rack in a couple years and will most likely get another Gamiviti.

I never had the rack. I just had the feet mounts, which were attached to the Alucab load bars. They got damaged when I went down the squeeze in Elephant Hill Rd and dragged my awning against the wall on accident. So, they got bent pretty much.
