I installed the Maxxima LED headlights and ran into the same problem. The lows don't stay on when you switch to the high beams. I've tried different pin orientations but doesn't seem to make a difference. Anybody got any suggestions?

Hmmm, this is interesting, I installed an ebay harness (I know, I know.. the price was right and I was low on cash..) and had the same situation with the high/low lights. I pulled it out and everything was back to normal. I was thinking of switching pins around, but didn't want to screw anything up, however I'd like to put the light harness back in, since it did make a difference in the old Sylvanias and I want to upgrade the headlights. I'll be keeping an eye on this waiting for one of the electrical gurus to hopefully straighten us out.

I just installed the newest version of the evo 2 8800s on my 88 62 and I didn't have any problems it was straight plug and play. I was worried there would be some extra steps from reading some of the posts but they simply plugged in and work great.

Not real sure if I dig the new design I kinda like the older ones with the large black lense and small black lense in the middle. But they do work phenomenally.

For some reason, my low beams will only work when I have the high beam engaged (both high and low will turn on when high beam is on, but low beam won’t when headlights are on).

Hopefully I explained that well enough - anyone have any ideas?

I'm installing Evo2 Low Beams and did the black/yellow wire swap. Using stock harness. Low beams only work when HB is ON. Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions?
