Also, it is designed for the factory fender flares and mud flaps, so there is a gap at the front. I installed aftermarket flaps.

Which flaps did you go with? Do they attach to the bumper, body, or both?
I used some aftermarket mud flaps made of heavy rubber/fiber I found at a chain auto parts store. I mounted them to the inside of the fender wells with heavy sheet metal screws. I can take some detail pics if you need them.
What did you do with the handles? Did you just rattle can them?
I keep thinking about doing this to my rig, but living in the North East I have to plan on future rust repairs.
I can't imagine trying to strip this stuff to get to a problem area.
I do love it though.....

sorry about highjack of main thread but is there a recommended tiedown system for those pelicans? and if so, any particular size?
