Nice Rig for sure...Limb Risers are certainly a nice touch!

Subscribed! AWESOME build. I plan on doing something very similar to my 1994 Land Cruiser project. I'm Army/Federal Technician and I work with Army equip. all/every day. I've got plans... ;)

By plans you mean an M2 or Mk19 pintle mount and smoke grenade launchers? Perfect.
Thanks for what you do. Good luck with your project.
Greg

I've got all those here. ;)

Reinforcing the ARB running boards

I know the ARB running boards are not sliders. They were a good deal, I like the steps and I like the look. I was concerned with their strength. So in response we used 1x2 heavy wall tube and built another strut from the frame and reinforced the others so there is a steel slider under the rocker panels all the way down.
Still not bomb proof, but for what I use Dingo for, I think it is a good solution. Plus it retained the classic look-you have to look underneath to see any modification.
Cheers.

Dingo on Tour

Just returned from an 8 day 800 mile off road trek across Western Nevada. No issues with Dingo at all, except for a square nail embedded in a tire (not discovered until we returned). Lots of pics and comments on gear/function to follow.

Your exhaust looks a little crinkled. :flipoff2:

Sounds like quite a journey. Pics? Details? ;)

Just bought my first 80 for my upcoming move to Denver. Although it's been said over and over, amazing work on your truck. Definitely new inspiration..I almost wish I needed a new paint job!

More Nevada pix of Dingo

Some more Dingo in Action in Nevada: 1. Near Fort Churchill 2. Hot Creek Canyon 3. Near Aurora. Still putting all the photos together. More to follow.

Looks sweet. I like how you color matched the rear bumper, tire and trasharoo. :)

This is probably my favorite 80 on the forum

final trip pix

Finally got some pix from the other guys on the trip. Thought I'd finish this part of the thread with a few. The only residual damage to Dingo from the trip was a faulty drivers window switch (disassembled, cleaned contacts and good to go); and a leaky radiator (put a rock or stick into it somewhere on the trail). I've since replaced that with a Koyo 1918. Below pics: Driving through an old burn near Barley Creek (Stone Cabin Valley); climbing a grade near Project Shoal (atomic test site) in Cocoon Mountains/Sand Spring Range; and finishing a dusty run across the Big Smoky Valley (southeast of Austin).
