The beeper is on the cluster.

10-4. Sounds easy enough. Stereo has been sitting on the shelf for a year. I prefer to listen to the diesel more than the radio

I've heard it's on the cluster as well. Instead of tearing the dash apart I was wondering if there was just a wire you could cut somewhere that was easy to get to?

I have had mine about two years. It was in pretty good shape when I picked it up off the boat. Baselined everything and got the diff locks working properly. New tires, refinished the rims, small lift. Ready to start the upgrades on the engine and see it's full potential.

Thanks for taking the time to post all of progress...I'll continue to follow along

Sounds like I need to ante up an just get the torqit. I was toying with the idea of the PPD Chinese route bc I read a few people said it was decent for the price.
If I had a decent exhaust shop around I would just build my own with them.

Picked up some 20mm coil spacers from Exit Offroad. Trying to tone down that cruiser rake. I think it turned out well, much happier with the stance now.

Looks good man. I personally never disliked the raked look. I’m amazed it bothers so many ppl on here. I barely even notice it.

Same here. I actually like a slightly raked look.

But OP’s rig is awesome.

For sure. I just think it looks good more level. But functionally I'll always leave a little rake for weight in the back

Maybe next I'll try reverse rake, 5" front / 4" rear

What is your longer-use review of the multi-gauge in clock location? Anything you would do different?
Is there an option to customize the display? Seems like I would only use EGT and Boost but the photos I've seen leave half of the screen unused.
I'm happy with it. I like that it keeps the interior looking stock - I wanted to avoid A pillar gauge pods and I felt like gauges down on the center console would be out of the line of sight.

There's not really any customization. I only need it for EGT and boost but you can add other sensors like coolant temp oil pressure, trans temp and exterior temp. I'm not sure how those would be displayed in addition to EGT/boost.

This is how it is now:

You can see how it gives that color indicator of temp as well.

The only thing I would do differently is start and run the truck before I wrap up the install. I accidentally switched the wires on EGT so my reading was negative. I had to pull it apart to fix it and broke the clock bezel in the process. Luckily they're still available new, at least for RHD. But be very careful with that piece of plastic.

@ikarus, your interior setup looks so clean!

FWIW, I spoke to Bryan Lutz at Lutz Auto and he said he is working on a non-OBDII version 2.0 setup that can run other gauges such as coolant temp, EGT, boost, and other external sensors.

They currently have the multi-gauge for diesels, but it does not currently support coolant temp.

FYI.

Yes you're right, my bad. It's trans temp and oil pressure you can do right now

And yes I love how clean it keeps the interior. I'm trying to keep it stock-ish

That would be great for non-OBD trucks. My odd duck is a 1998 with 1HDT and no OBD. Any timeline from Bryan? I can wait. Not urgent.

He didn’t mention a timeline, but I’m sure you could email and ask him.

Stainless steel snorkel!?!

Yeah dude! Decided if I don’t like the stainless for whatever reason I can powder coat it later
Just put some wax on it to avoid pitting, or throw a couple of coats of clear if you want a longer term solution

I know a few people have asked about the Rosen visors so I took a pic. I like em, probably give them an 8/10. Could be a little larger and could be a little darker tint. But compared to the old broken sagging visors, they're great.

Did you consider replacing with oem? Since you have the overhead console the visors are different than the NLA US ones. I picked them up for $30 each. They are non-power option so you don’t get the mirror light if you had it before. That did not bother me.
