That is a great solution but at $250 its really pricey. I wonder if there is anything else with homelink that we could use.

I’m in Canada so here it says $250 Canadian. I looked and a better alternative is a wifi sender for $50 that you can use your phone to open garage doors.
I used to use WoolWax and have tried Fluid Film.... But now I use Blaster Surface Shield. In my opinion it sticks on much better than the others.

I may be in minority here but I think bumpers and other masculine jewelry takes away from the overall visual coherence of these trucks
I find sliders non-offensive (and necessary!) and then pretty much everything else just doesn't feel organic. I am even a fan of slick top without the roof rack.
I know I say that while having all that on my current 100 - but heart wants what it doesn't have
I agree, to a point. Looks super clean.
There's some pretty sweet bumpers available to though. Some just don't sit well with the shape of the 80 at all.

I go back and forth on an ARB bumper. I love the look and have always wanted an expedition style 80 with an ARB bumper and roof rack. I think it kind of squares up the front a little which helps a little with the bubble look. But stock looks great too. Luckily or unluckily for me I guess my decision has been made for me. I ran out of money so no bumper for now. haha
I had an ARB on the front of my previous 80-Series. I struck a vehicle going north in the eastbound lanes of I-40 at 70 mph, and I think that the bumper largely kept me from being killed (or worse). I was impressed...

How is the Torqit exhaust holding up? Still happy with it or would have done something different?
I am debating between Torqit and Beaudesert for the same 304 reasoning as you. Torqit claims TIG welding from both sides where Beaudesert mentions special stainless welding wire implying they are MIG welding. Their site also has a photo of a welder with a MIG gun so that adds up. Since TIG is a more precise method and takes more skill, I am leaning towards Torqit.
How is the noise level on the neighborhood roads? Do you have a point of contact for Torqit that worked with you for shipping? If you don't mind sharing - what was the final price to your door?

It does take more skill, however most mass produced exhaust is not human welded.

I paid $1500 USD which includes S&H from down under to Ohio. Awesome product, I just need to see how it holds up to Ohio winter salted roads.

Holding up great. Like Deuce said, we'll see how it looks after the winter. But I'm happy with it and wouldn't do it differently if I had the chance.
Install was easy too. No difficulty, probably took an hour being careful.
The construction is beautiful, really nice welds. I'm not a welder but have been around fab shops enough to know what looks good and what doesn't. If you look at the Torqit FB page you can find a bunch of behind the scenes photos of how they build exhausts.
Noise level is good. They have two options and I went with the louder. I initially thought that it was a little too loud but it turned out that the mid section was rubbing on the floor pan directly underneath my driver's seat and creating extra vibration and noise. Once I made some clearance there, it mellowed out. I get a lot of compliments on the exhaust sound, it's funny. I do keep the speed down in my neighborhood especially at night because I live in a quiet area. It's not quite as loud as some of the bro dozer clapped out 3rd gen 2500s ripping around here.

Sometimes they take a while to respond. I actually hit them up a week ago to see if they have an exhaust for my 200 but I haven't heard back yet.
Final price I believe was about $1450 or so. But it goes up or down depending on the exchange rate.
I appreciate the detailed reply. Can you expand on the rubbing issue you experienced? Any photos of where that was and what you did to correct? Anything related to the exhaust fabrication?

If it's machine welded it would depend on climate. If rust is a concern tig, probably. I currently have 5 rigs with mig exhaust.

I asked them about the two types and they said:
"HS8196SS vs HS8196RSS - The R in the product code means it’s the louder version. Below is a video of the loud option."
As far as the rubbing issue, it was right here in this section that goes up and over the frame, and routes underneath the driver's seat (on my RHD cruiser)
The fix was easy, I just got underneath, felt around where i could feel the exhaust touching the floor pan, removed that middle section and used a hammer to give it a little clearance right there.
You can see if from the top side here, it broke the sound deadening when i hit it -
But your mileage may vary. It only needed less than a half inch of clearance. Might not be a problem for some, who knows.
