I Had Fun Today

Visted the Holy Grail of LandCruiser grave yards today in Salida Colorado........ I stopped in at Classic Cruisers meet Stan and Mike... they were two top notch guys and helped me find all the parts I needed to make my FJ40 complete. The 40's they consider "parting out" rigs would make you guys cry. I didn't see a rotted out body in the yard. I could have spent a whole day going through all the cruisers there; incrediable

oh and on the way home I ran into a blizzard....... the pic of the Baja was just before it got nasty; I couldn't see 25 feet in front of me. I have never seen snow that hard before in my life. Gotta love Colorado

I sent an email asking about Pig fenders and tailgate skin (no motor, glass, inside panel) - if you don't mind you could ask them about those parts if you call.

I'm not going to GSMTR either and Conyers ain't far from home. We might see you there. What are the details of the bike run?

FYI, It's the same course they inaugurated MTB'ing into the Summer Olympics back in '96. And I was there for that. Pretty cool place.

When is that MTB event? the 19th or 20th? If so I will be heading home and can swing by to say hey.

It is on Sat . the 19th........ If you guys can make it out, that'd be awesome !!!! It is a 24 hour mountain bike race starting on noon Sat.

I will be there. I know right where it will be since I have been there a LOT for horse shows and saw a few MTB races. I will roll right in from Tellico in the dirty Cado, just to upstage the lil TT FJCs
