2007 Lx470

If you wait until the LX570 comes out you will not find a new 07 LX to buy. Toyota has stop production, check your local dealer, there are very few cars in the country. We have three 2007 Lx's in stock and that's it until the new LX comes out in late Dec early Jan.

That was tongue in cheek sarcasm ;).... I won't be on any lists, so I am going to have to wait (very unimpatiently I must add) to see/drive an LX before I decide on which vehicle I am going to purchase (LC/LX , RR s/c, G550).

Let's keep this about David and the '08 wheeling? This goes for me too! There's enough other threads where folks keep putting the new truck down.

BRING IT ON DAVID!

Does the D -pillar look as disproportionately thick in person as it does in pics ? I really do like the straight on front view..looks pretty good.

I love to see new car carnage pix!! More!!

So, honestly, how good is this thing when it comes to wheeling? I love wheeling the 100s, my 4Runner doesn't even come close to the fun factor. Is the 200 as fun to wheel as the 100? This oughta be interesting.

The front and rear suck on the 100 series too. Practically destroyed the front bumper my first time out and the rear is only intact because I have a carrier hanging even lower to drag on the rocks.

New bumpers are practically mandatory for all these new vehicles if you intend to use them in the dirt. Just my .02.

Thanks again for posting all the pics David.

Its gonna be hella hard to make an aftermarket rear bumper tire carrier for that. Were having the same problem with the 4th gen. 4runners.

I can't remember, does the '08 LC have AHC ? If so, did it still scrape with the AHC raised? If it did, then that's jacked !! I know I'm repeating myself here, but, that damned rear side window needs to extend back another 2-3 inches...It's not proportioned right. Am I wrong here ?

As for the extra wide D-Pillar, I can only guess it's because of the new 2008 rear crash standards for vehicles with 3rd row seats. They went from a 30 mph impact, hit squarely across the rear to a 50 mph offset crash. Several other '08+ models have similiarly large rear pillars. Since it's always the kiddies sitting back there, a stronger rear pillar is a very good thing--especially in a rollover.

Just look at those holes in the chassis made just to let crap in start the rust process from the inside

First thing I'd do would be to plug them and waxoyl the whole underside.
