I had the original when I got it. I looked all over my dads place to see if I could find it. I think I have the pass side but I think my drivers seat went when my uncle sold all his parts. I used some old seats my Dad had setting around.

I will keep my eye out!
I have the parts you don't want! Long jump seats.
If you find that passenger seat let me know, I found a drivers seat.

Mounted the radiator last night and filled all the fluids. It fired off like a champ this morning! It was a beautiful sound....

And then I had to check the oil filter.....bone dry. Stabbed two different dizzy 10 ways to Sunday still nothing so one last try with the screwdriver in a drill trick tomorrow but I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to spend half a day replacing the oil pump. Thankfully I have a spare one hand but no new gasket so the old gasket and some RTV are going to have to do for now I suppose.

I dug out the WS to cowl gasket ti's real nice. I have a pair of running boards, too and probably the support for them if you need it. still looking for the bracket that the WS knob screws into.

Thanks Gary,

I do have the supports for the running boards, sorry I didn't make it up this weekend I wanted to make sure I got all the mechanicals in working order first.

Well I solve the oil pump issue, it had some strange contraption made of two retainer clamps brazed together that was preventing it seating down far enough to engage the pump. Glad I tried the screwdriver before removing the oil pan.

Finished the exhaust tonight tonight too and painted the windshield.

If I hadn't broke the P.O's welded up throttle pedal yesterday I would be bleeding the brakes tomorrow and taking it up the road as is just to confuse the neighbors...

Your marking good progress!

I have not had a chance to look in my stash this weekend but hope to have time to go to the farm tomorrow.

Dave, you had me sweating for a moment when you said there was no oil pressure. I'm glad it worked out!

I was about to call and ask you how long you drove it around in the yard. But it was just my error in checking difference in the new distributor I put in.

Great progress, you're making me look like a lazy bum.

Welded the throttle pedal properly and figured out the timing again since I somehow missed getting the original spline pulling the distributor 10 times the other day looking for the oil issue.

And since everything looked to be in good shape..... I decided to go home grab the wife and take her for her first ride in a 40! No windshield, no passenger seat, no doors, hell I didn't even put the fenders back on it yet but she was happy! Must have picked the right one...

Anyways after I got done enjoying it a little it was back to patching holes cut by others, not the prettiest welding (it's a 1970's lincoln stick welder not a MIG) and that's why they make grinders.

That only applies to much older cars.
There are years listed that it applies to.
