Did you guys keep your charcoal canister? If so, how did you adapt the plumbing to pull proper vacuum and return the vapors to the intake manifold?

My CC vents to atmosphere, but that was the direction I was given during my desmog many years ago.

Hi guys, did any one modify they dissy to electronic one, I got one and wonder do I connect yellow coil wire to negative of the coil or use crank signal?

Hi & welcome to the forum. I think you’ll need to supply a bit more info to get some help. Heres a few questions.

1. Which vehicle, year and engine?

2. Are you installing a Holley Sniper? Is it the 2300?

3. What do you mean by “electronic conversion”? Pertronix in a stock dizzy or do you have a later FJ60 electronic distributor? DUI/HEI?

You probably should start your own new thread with detailed info.

Hi Steamer
Vehicle is Landcruiser 75 series 3F petrol with Pertonix Ignitor
I'm currently installing Holley Sniper 2300 master kit.

As per the Snipers instructions, the yellow wire on the 7pin connector goes to the negative terminal on the coil. The green & violet wire are not used.

I'm running the Sniper 2300 with a DUI distributor and my yellow wire is connected to the "Tach" terminal on the DUI. The tach terminal is connected internally to the coil negative.
