Hold on to your 100 series, fellas, don't make the same mistake I did.

I've been debating selling my 100 for a long time... the 80 is just so much more capable, and the difference in power isn't considerable enough to really make it worth the torsion bars.... personally I think the 100's ride like garbage when they are lifted, doesn't seem to matter what shocks or springs you go with.

aww man take a ride in mine with AHC tuned and in spec, rides like a cloud even with KO2s

See, I have absolutely no interest in ever dealing with AHC. I know that with effort it can be reliable and that it definitely improves ride, but I have seen it first hand ruin far too many trips... to me, it's not worth the headache.

Seriously, my 80 ruined my 100 for me. It's that much better on the trail. Sure it's *slower* but that's splitting hairs.... the 100 is no spry chicken... built and loaded, both are absolute pigs on the road.

I can attest to AHC ruining a couple of my trips, one of which you were with me at HIH8. That system is long gone now.

I so empathize. I bought an 01 new off the lot and kept it 17 years. Every time I drove it, it felt like the very first. Never had one issue with it. Not one. Not even a loose knob somewhere. I sold her when I took a job that required a ton of travel and vehicle compliance. I grieved my "Crush." I'm still not over the loss, to be honest. Anyway, I wound up with an 08 GX, which was the most uncomfortable vehicle I've ever driven. Fast forward to January, I took a different job with no travel, dumped the GX and have been looking for another 100 to replace my old gal ever since. Found one yesterday that Im about to overpay for but, as long as the PPI checks out I'll be happy.

Yeah i only want an LC in Thunder Cloud, the reason is because their bumpers and side molding matches the paint, the rest are two tones. I don't mind traveling, i flew to Georgia to buy my previous LX and drove it home to DC. I have no price limit, i overpaid for my last LX and i'll overpay for the next 100 if its' clean and well maintained.

This color is beautiful, and the only 1 tone LC i think, the rest have different color bumpers than their body paint. I think this and regular silver

River Rock mica (1C3) also matches the bumpers and trim. I’m not a fan of two tone LC’s either. I also hate chrome on 4x4’s.

10-4

I actually recently sold an ’02 LX, not pictured, The profit more than paid for my wife’s ‘04 LX daily driver.

My galactic gray land cruiser is monotone as well, I think that and thundercloud were the only ones. Funny, I wanted the the two-tone but this has grown on me.

Can’t you just take any cruiser to a body shop and paint the two tone to match the body color???

This. I'm in the collection phase of life. Once one vehicle is finished, we only ADD new ones.

That's how I've already outgrown my new-to-me garage in 3 months of ownership. Anyone wanna go halvesies on a storage building?

@MongooseGA whats a storage building cost in the N ATL market you think? I have been wondering that as well. If its not too bad heck why not get a place to house the cars/trucks/toys and have a place to do the work as well. I am sure there will be other members from the ATL market interested as well.

I have gone back and forth, I can never sell the 100. A bronco would be fun for a bit but I would want to be back in my 100. Just got it how I want it.... Wife thinks I am insane but she drives a plush GX460 thats stock and perfect for her. IT really is beauty and the beast. Maybe one day her GX will turn into a beast.

I agree, keep your 100s becasue they are getting HARDER to find

I've sometimes entertained selling it for something more practical MPG wise and smaller, especially in HS and going into college, but nothing really compares to a LC than another LC... After driving an older tesla for a few days while the 100 was out of comission, I was so glad to be back in the hundy.

Both of y'all need to drive my 200...😬

I drive my mom's 200 all the time, it's wonderful! It's looking more and more like my 100 will be on the market here soon....
I wheel my 200 HARD and I can tell you a built 200 on 35s isn't all that far behind an 80 on 35s. I wheel with built 80s and 60s and keep up pretty well. Ive never been in a spot were I was the only one that had to pull cable. Most people who throw shade on 200s have never wheeled one hard. They are mean machines.

Yeah but you need a built JK on tons and 42s for the abuse you dish out.
