Yep the tyres are 285 x 75 x r16 which will fit on. 16 x 7 or 16 x 8 rim, 33 inch tyres are the same as 285

Today I purchased some nice goodies for my truck.

Firstly was the centre console and I was also able to get the roof console as well

I'm hoping the wiring is in the roof already, but I doubt it would

Looks to be in nice shape.No you won't find any wiring,and you don't need the base plate which is attached to it because that is only mounted in high-roof models.
Did you get the inner/outer temp sensors with it?

He said everything is included, so hope so, it will be easy enough to wire up to the interior light source and the dash lights

Been in touch with the seller today regarding the roof console and it turns out he doesn't have the thermo sensors

I've done a search online and can't seem to find any, actually I don't even know what they look like

So I did a search on here for roof consoles and I've contacted another mudder to see if he may have some parts.

Anyway if it turns out to be too hard to find these sensors, I might just do what another mudder has done on here with his

So we'll see what happens

Well I know where to look for the outdoor one, but I wasn't sure where to find the inside sensor, apparently it's inside the dash near the middle vents

I'll bet 99% of the people that have that temp sensor in their possesion don't know what it is.
Including me up until i saw your post!
I aquired a porch bumper w/ pto winch set up and the sensor was bolted inside of the frame. I had no idea what it could be as it just seemed to dead end. I figure it was a sensor for something, but didn't think of one for temps.

I decided whilst at work today to go and checkout an old wrecked Sahara, I knew someone had already ripped the console out

But I thought, hoping really that they didn't take the sensors, so I couldn't find the inside one, that must've been an easy find for them.

But I found the outside one, just gotta know where to look

Just came across this thread. Nice work spudman. I just found myself a hj61 as well. I got the vx high roof model. 5spd, cable lockers, pto winch. The only thing not working on my truck when I bought it was that thermometer in the overhead console. I think the display is shot. Even though it has power going to it it doesn't light up. I've searched many times on this forum but haven't come across a thread with a solution. If you don't get yours going I'll be happy to buy it from you.

Does that pig tail for the outside one have a blue connector on the pig tail....than would be located behind the passenger side headlight? I have a blue female connector there that looks to be missing the mail end

Hey mate don't quite follow what connector you are talking about, but I don't have that end piece yours has, I thought that was just a protective cover, I have to go back out to this Sahara so I'll have another look
