I've decided to replace the rear drum brakes on the old girl.
Anyone got any recommendations on things to improve or upgrade while I'm at it?
Or known issues to watch out for while replacing rear drum setup.

Thanks in advance.

You mean like for like correct? Just refurbishing your rear axle, not trying some kind of frankenstein disc setup?

The only points I offer are:

  • Consider a delete of the auto adjuster mechanism.. it kinda sucks
  • I see you're in Australia.. so avoid the Online Auto Parts rebuild kit for rear drums - the little cable I have highlighted below (red arrow) breaks within the first few uses on their kit..

Your Documentation is ridiculously well organised and collated.
If you had a link for donations I'd shout you a bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed.
So happy to have access to that info.
Thankyou
