Sweet truck! Do you know Kevin? Not stickied because it's just a troopy registry not really a source of info. I used to keep it in my signature but I think we've listed most of the rigs on mud. I'll get yours on the list Monday.

Cheers, Josh

Recently turned mine back into a troopie due to rust issues in the ute roof i had on it and I'd acquired another troopie roof, so a quick tart up was in order .

Nice. Love the LX windscreen! Your neighbours must be far more understanding than the Adelaide variety.

He's from Alberta, ya moong. Besides, who on Mud doesn't know you? There are only, what? 2,000 of you Canadians up there? Most of whom are in Florida this time of year.

For Sale in Montana

Josh,

This one is for sale in Montana. Hefty price, but it looks good from what pictures it has. Speedo doesn't look right though. No KM's.

Anyway, they have the vin number on the page so I grabbed it for the list. It's FJ45177102.

And don't worry Kevin, I bet we do have friends, family or aquaintences in common...sheeet, we might even be related! :grinpimp:

Thanks Hoffy! I'll chuck it on now.

Josh

PS, good lord, you ain't kidding about the price, but it sure is pretty. If that lotto comes in for me I may just snap it up....guess I need to go buy a ticket. Of course, my chances don't really go up by much if I do buy a ticket....guess I'll just stick with my LX.

Just out of curiosity, why is my truck at the top of the list? I would think it would be just above Kevin's.

Sorted. I'm sure I had some reason for that but it escapes me just now. Thanks for bringing it up.

Thanks Josh

Just wanted to see all the FJ45's in the same herd.

Why isn't this thread a sticky?

Not stickied because it's just a troopy registry not really a source of info.

But I still don't understand why it is not a sticky. This is as useful information as any of the other stickied lists in this section.

I think woody needs to be selective. After all, if he stickied all the cool threads there would be 5 pages of stickies.

I used to have the link in my signature, but I think I've listed pretty well all the rigs which are available to me. There are about 8 more troopies I know of but don't know their VIN.

My new 45, FJ 45 156155, located in Grande Prairie Alberta Canada, its new forever home.....

Sweet! I'll list her tomorrow. Love the VW turn signals... Looks clean. Get to know awl_TEQ (Kevin) in Calgary if you don't already. He's the go-to guy for hard-to-get bits you need for the body.

Hard to tell from your VIN: is it a late '76 or early '77? I listed it as a '77 as that seems the most likely.

July 1977. Body is in really nice shape for a 36 year old truck, except for the fenders which I will replace with some Aqualu units eventually, I am driving it all over town enjoying the kidney jolting ride.

Last I checked, Toyota still makes fenders. That may be another option.

The ride is why they are called Gland Bruisers - harden up :-) enjoy that rig and use it in good health.

Bump for new troopies?

I know of at least two new ones which just arrived - are they on Mud? Complete list of known troopies is on page 1.
