Finally figured how to attach, I'm a bit simple

Not many of those running around NSW. Did you get it in WA or has in been in NSW long? Pity about the rod holders, I hope it has not spent too much time on the beach.

Want to ship it to the US where it can roam free in the mountains?:grinpimp:

No time on the beach as far as I know, I've just put the rod holders on it. It's had a couple of trips up around the rivers in NSW, no beach driving as far as I know. I'm the 3rd owner, the guy I bought it off picked it up and drove it back from W.A. I've been doing a few changes to it in recent days such as a canopy frame for the back and a chassis mounted rack system similar to the camp troopy in recent posts for above the roof to house a rooftop tent. Just installed a shower too, it's powered with a 12v pump and I have the 50l bladder behind the seat.

Look forward to seeing the zombie response unit...

I know this is completely random and off topic so I'm sorry. I will be adding a troopy to this list eventually but anyway does anyone know the GVW of an fj45 troopy? I'm just trying to plan out my build accordingly and wight is something to take into consideration when deciding on what parts i'm going to use. thanks.

DualcabDeclan that has to be the coolest truck on mud.:beer:

nathan 117 try https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj45-owners-club/274591-hj45-gvw.html for your GVW question. I just went and picked up some gravel with mine the other day. It wieghed 4700 dry and 6700 with gravel. The rear springs are shot in mine but the engine could hardly tell the extra wieght was there.

Mine was about 5800 dry with all the skids, winch, racks, etc. however the vortec didn't notice.

Did you sell your HJ47 troopy?

Yes, about 3 months ago. I'll get another one day but for now I am pretty happy with just my LX. I had Patches for 16 years so I thought it was time to share the joy of troopy ownership with a new owner. Plus with my 19 month old son I just don't have the time for two toys.

Now I live vicariously through the others on this list.

Zombie - your HJ45 is fantastic! What are your plans? Is it in good condition rust-wise? Did you import it or find it here? Ever thought of sending it to NM?

Holly sweet troopy collection bat man! I can arrange shipment to the US for those if you're keen to see them roam free in the mountains and play in the snow. :)

Nice. I can put it on the registry if you'd like but I only do it with the vin to ensure we don't double up when a rig is sold

Any new troopies? Bump for new troopies.
