Beautiful work! I love the diamond plate and Line-X. Looks sharp.

looks good Joe! You going to lower the rear a bit or will the tire carrier do it?

See you in Moab as well, shooting for the majority of the week

It's sitting high now without the bumper/tire/tool boxes but I'm not sure how the reduction in leverage will play out. I'll probably have to back off the pre-load a little. That will force me into limit straps also (which I should have already had on).

We're coming down Sunday the 28th. Look forward to wheeling with you. How's your truck's re-birth coming?

picking up steam, almost down to wiring and re-sealing stuff like axles and t-cases...years of no maintenance :)

Hood is 13" narrower, probably lost a foot around the mid section since the cowl is gone, mostly buggy now :) Should work well.

I haven't posted in a while but have been working on the truck when I can. I was trying to not burn the midnight oil before Moab but as usual that's what it's come to. The bumper finally got finished last night. It's basically a new revision of the previous one... I reused the center section with the tire carrier and built the rest from scratch. A little heavier duty this time. The main tube is 3/16 and the brake light guards are 1 1/2 - .120. I also got the bars finished for the shoulder harnesses but forgot to take pictures of them. They were also made from 1 1/2 x .120. Here are some pictures of the bumper and the lack of room between the spare and the fuel cell where my cooler used to fit!
