But Im installing a Cummins R2.8 and everything in the engine bay only will be new. Does anyone have the part number for the condenser Coolstream previously wolf for the FJ60. If someone have that, I may be able to move a conversation I am having forward.

The conversation I am having right now requires that part number.

It might be helpful for Coolstream to hear from others that there is interest in this part.

Also, drop in solution, no. But, I may have a line on a viable option that would need brackets and new lines. I'm going to order the condenser in and see what will be required for brackets and lines.

@ALLEGIANCE, you're in Cola?

I've used Cooler Classics. Below is their information and link to FJ60 condenser. I think they ship for only $20

I believe @cruisermatt has or is developing a drop in solution
A drop in solution sounds excellent. Heck, making it a limited-run production with a premium makes sense. I see this as a luxury for the haves and have-nots; those who want A/C are likely willing to pay enough to justify the production costs. Those who are living without A/C are probably the hardcore folks who don't mind missing it; then again, I'm biased.

Just a heads-up—YMMV, but I’ve decided to go with the Phoenix Mobile Air condenser, Part #755-78005. At $99.63 plus shipping, the price is tough to beat, the dims look close and it was the only part number Coolstream gave me for an FJ60 that hit.

Important Note:
There isn’t a condenser currently on the market that matches the OEM dimensions exactly—so no true drop-in replacements. Many aftermarket options have the correct width, and some match the height, but all the ones I’ve found are slightly longer in length. You’ll need to fabricate some brackets (not difficult) and have new lines made; I’m getting mine done at a local rubber and gasket shop. As others have stated @cruisermatt has indicated he is putting together a kit for a universal condenser.

Chase (@red66toy from The Cruiser Cult) was incredibly helpful—I am using their video on Instagram as a starting point.

I’ve = been in contact with Enrique Tapia at Phoenix Mobile Air. They are a manufacturer for Coolstream.

As always, do your own due diligence before moving forward.

@garfieldthecat I am in need of a new Condenser and saw a separate post from Cooler Classics. Will this work with the OEM brackets and lines? This is for an '84 FJ60. Thanks in advance.

It should work with earlier trucks. I have a Frankenstein AC system I put together from parts out of an '81 and '84 FJ60. My '82 truck had a dealer-installed AC system with a York compressor, so I sourced all early-FJ60 parts. Cooler Classics has the early and late condensers. I think there is a year in there ('85-'86) that he is working out, but the early and late ('87?) models he has.

Here's the Cooler Classics on my '84. Brackets took some doing, and the pipe has to be adjusted. Come to think of it, I think it needs to be spaced away from the radiator for better airflow. It's not possible because it's too tall, and I can't move it forward without hitting that front pillar, which is already hits, and I can't move it up higher, so it's a bummer.

Can you incorporate the factory rubber isolator mounts some how? Helps reduce vibrations on the unit.

Thinking yes, maybe, but also, there are two-piece rubber isolators that can be bought to do the same. Come to think of it, I'll try that!

PS. Love the anti-theft harness, Koito fog lights, and the e-brake boot. Appreciate you.
