This post is a place holder & scratch pad.

I'm researching brake hoses. I need the hoses that you use when you eliminate the dust shields or backing plates. I have NAPA part numbers 38881 (for a long hose) and 38878 (for a short hose).

Will do, thanks! I may have a few more things to order from you, so give me a week to get my ducks in a row.

No problem, we'll be here!

I made more progress today.

Finished removing the top.

Removed the front seats.

Removed the tranny hump, which was held in with 4 of the original 12 bolts.

Was then able to remove the PTO winch gear case and the adapter.

I need the sleeve, washer & lock nut. (If anyone has spares, please let me know.)

I also snipped off the coolant hoses that were in the cab. (The rear heater is long gone.) Made a coolant and gear oil mess all over the floor.

Discovered I need a new radiator because my overflow tube is broken at the radiator neck. D'oh!! Any radiator recommendations, please let me know.

When I removed the PTO, I also took off the sleeve, gear doohickey, shear key, and nut in that lower picture. Now the back end of the case looks as pictured in the upper picture.

I need the stock sleeve and lock nut. Still trying to find the parts diagram for it.

Yes! Thanks!

Where can I get that long spacer and locking nut?

(Also need that gasket.)

But I have the cone.

Does your cone fit over the longer shaft you have? I bet @Poser or Mark Algazy would have a loose spacer kicking around. Bet you'll find one in the classifieds too.

Yes. Right now, the cone fits over the shaft.

(Of course, when those other parts were on there, the cone did not fit. Those other parts were clearly part of the PTO, so I had to remove them.)

OK - I think the bearing that I can see on my case is part #8 in the above diagram. I need parts 6, 7, & 41, plus the gasket, so I can button this thing up. If anyone can help, please let me know. Thank you.

Alfred, I'll look on Sunday.

Thanks Paul. Appreciate it. I was about to put up a parts wanted post. I'll wait to hear from you.

Also, will check in with @brew8

Ok. I need to close up this transfer case. Gotta get a few parts from @3_puppies to do that. I need the gasket, too. So will have to hunt up one of those.

Moved around to the front end again. Gotta get the axle pulled out. Disconnected the drive shaft. Removed the shackles. My shackles are rusted, corroded and pitted. Need new ones. Called @cruiseroutfit and got 'em coming. Asked about the gasket, can only get it as part of a full kit. Anyone got a spare laying around?

I'm also working on removing my Ramsey PTO winch. Tried to remove it complete and with no damage but had some casualties. Oh well. I'll have a near-complete winch to sell, either in a basket or a bunch of parts that others can use to complete their winch resto.
