Parts got here safe and sound and they look promising. I am going to take them home this weekend and compare them to the Slee unit in my rig and see what the differences are.

One issue is supply. There are only 4 cables in the US with 1 in transit from Japan. The knobs are out of stock with none in transit. The nuts are pretty easy to get.

Once I've figured out if it will work with the 80 series setup, I would be willing to put a larger order into Toyota if there was enough interest for the OEM option from folks out there...

Original 80 Hand Throttle

Comparing to the Original hand throttle for 80 from slee it seems like upper part should work but lower will require some fabrication to hold a cable in place. I doubt it that it will be plug and play.
And Knob for 70's looks much longer than for 80's hand throttle

I going to give THIS $15 one a try. Plan is to shorten the cable to fit and install a cable stop on the end from a bike shop.

Arrived and installed
Works perfect
$15.39 total cost shipped

I did need a nut, star washer, and cable stop but I was able to find the needed parts in my crap.

I had the Slee version in a previous owned 80 and I could not keep it tight so on this install I used an external star washer to back the nut and Super Glue Gel thread locktime will tell

Beno, Any updates on 70 series hand throttle comparing to 80's? Will it fit? How much fabrication need to be done to make it function?
