Arrived and installed
Works perfect
$15.39 total cost shipped

I did need a nut, star washer, and cable stop but I was able to find the needed parts in my crap.

I had the Slee version in a previous owned 80 and I could not keep it tight so on this install I used an external star washer to back the nut and Super Glue Gel thread lock:hillbilly:time will tell

:santa: Christmas gift for my 80:D

Just ordered mine, thanks for the leg work!

Thanks LC Phil for the link to buy the Lawnmower hand throttle. $15.39 + $1.24 additional parts later it is installed and working (like an OEM one). Besides the lawnmower part that arrived two days after order, I bought a star washer, a jam nut, a plastic doodad and a cable stop. From the bin a bike lever adjuster and two jam nuts. Cut the housing and cable to fit. Here is a few camera phone pics for reference. Happy winching, etc. in the future.

I picked up a Toro one also. The dude is probably wondering why there is a run on them all of a sudden...

My neighbor's wife has a mall/soccer use '96 that he said I could swap the pedal in from mine. Hopefully, it will all come together soon.

I modified a govt surplus Humvee throttle cable like this one:

Hummer H1 HMMWV Throttle Positioning Cable | eBay

I bought it surplus for $9.00, pulled the cable out, cut the sheathing to length, and then reinstalled the connector end. This thing is awesome and infinitely adjustable. It both pulls and turns and you can lock it down at whatever rpm you want it to hold. I've even used it for climbing rock features, holding the rpm steady while I power break since I don't have lockers. I know, not the best for the transmission, but I can hold it steady at 1200 rpm and then just use the break to get over tough spots since I don't have lockers.

The Humvee throttle cable is awesome, but I haven't seen them surplus for $9.00 for a little while now.
