I really didn’t.

I have not heard anything good about any of the disc brake parking brake conversion kits that have been out there for a while now. This will work great. The stock speedometer cable reaches, as does the stock parking brake cable.

This is beautiful to hear that stock cables still reach. I assumed I needed to get custom cables made.

I had to plate the frame where the 60 series frame cross member pieces were going to be welded to the frame, so that I could get sufficient welding surface area to ensure that they remain attached for many years. The center piece (black in color) is a 40 series specific part that a friend in AZ sent up to me. (Thank you Rick! ) I used .250” thick material to plate the frame.

This option is completely incompatible with running a 40/55 skidplate, yes?

I see the custom skidplate come into play in later posts.

It is. It is too low amd too long.
