Lift: Ironman 2" lift The front is the regular white FEC shock and suffix B firmer spring. The rear is FEC Pro (black) shocks and the suffix B firmer spring.
The ride is good. It's a little different in that it can seem a little "jouncy" over some bumps versus the stock suspension, but when you hit heavier/harder bumps or holes, it soaks them up much better than the stock airbag suspension did.

That's a great look, what size KO2's did you end up with to get 33.5"? Any rubbing, and how's the ride? mk

Updating my set up. We’ve added a bunch of weight. Front/rear bumpers, winch, RTT and Dobinsons drawers.

17" Stealth custom series F5 wheels
BFG A/T KO2, 285/70/r17
Ironman FCP w/ 0.25 spacer up front & Dobinsons 701v LT rear springs

Great looking rig. I just bought a 07 GX and have an iKamper rooftop tent and want to put bumpers front and rear with a winch. Have been looking at the Dobinson suspension with a 354 front coil (220-350lb weight) and a 327 rear coil for the rear (200-400lb weight). My rear bumper I want to have a dual swing arm for mounting my spare tire and jerry cans. Should I go stiffer springs you think adding that much weight? How does your rig ride?

Thanks in advance

Sounds about right...I am planning to run the 352 springs on the front with front bumper and winch. Probably the 327's for the rear with a big single swing rear bumper. Depending on the weight of the tent...you might want to go up one level in spring in the back.

The tent weights around 125lbs and sits on the rack so the weight should be distributed evenly on both axles... I appreciate the advice!

At most the tent will cause you 1/4" loss of height. Depending on what coil conversion you use (I am using the SSO one), you can get that loss back with a shim. Both the SSO and the Dobinsons coil conversion add lift...1/2-3/4" of lift.

I'd been lurking on this thread for three weeks while awaiting suspension. Drove my wife nuts talking about tire possibilities during that time. Figured I might as well share what I settled on.

Falken Wild Peak AT3W 275/70/17
Period Correct 17" Tundra Wheels (waiting on unbranded center caps in the mail)
Bilstein 5100 shocks all around. Toytec coils and conversion kit. Provides about 2" rear and 2.5" front lift.

I went back and forth between 275/70 and 255/80. Decided on the 275 for a couple of reasons. For one, the Falkens had great reviews. C range tire opposed to E, which I am not sure I needed. Most tread depth and largest in its class according to mfg. Decided agains 255 for the following, spare fitment concerns, speedo and odometer skewing, and just being a little too tall for what I need.

I'm super happy with these tires so far (very few miles). I was previously running 265/65 Toyo Open Country AT3 and the ride feels the same as it did on those. The wheels are a great, almost OEM look and provide 10mm less offset than stock, which gives it an ever so slightly wider stance with no spacers ( note: I have to give credit to some other GX owners with these wheels for influencing my decision) Did have to push front fender in about a 3/4 inch as it rubbed when fully turnt in reverse.

Did you have a leveled stance with that setup? I looking to get that exact springs but with Bilstein 5100s. Thanks

Which weight Dobinsons springs are you running?
Comfort front(softer valving in the shocks too found that out after), Medium rear(normal valving), I was worried about it being a harsh ride... wished I'd gone Medium front, Heavy rear... already looking at bumpers and figuring I'll have to do that.

Will your OE Lexus caps work in there?

Finally pulled the trigger, went from hts to 245 75 st maxx and now 255 80 st maxx. I believe left front tire locked while in reverse is making contact with the body mount. Going to get a alignment and see if Stellar Built can mess with the caster to resolve the issue. I'll probably end up trimming more of the bumper. I may get some trail or tundra wheels see if they clear the uca better. No off road tests yet, hopefully soon.
