Another forum I am on has a thread like this and I found it extremely
helpful in picking tires and lifts.

For those who would like to contribute, post your combination of the tire size/brand/type including lift and any modification to fender, running boards, liners or bumpers. If you have bumpers it would also be helpful if you would post where you got them and what brand they are. You must follow the format along with a clear shot of the side of the GX, (and front for those with spacers).

Wheels: Stock 17"
Tires: ? LT265/65-17 ?
Spacers: None
Lift: Ironman 2" lift The front is the regular white FEC shock and suffix B firmer spring. The rear is FEC Pro (black) shocks and the suffix B firmer spring.
The ride is good. It's a little different in that it can seem a little "jouncy" over some bumps versus the stock suspension, but when you hit heavier/harder bumps or holes, it soaks them up much better than the stock airbag suspension did.

When I was trying to decide on tires/wheels/lift I found it very frustrating to sort through pictures on forums, so I created a website, Meta4x4 that saves pictures w
ith meta data for easy searching of brands and sizes. Unfortunately it only has pictures from me and one of my friends right now so it isn't very useful. Here's a link to my GX so that you don't get lost in my friends Nissan XE 4wd wagon pictures: Meta4x4
