only deflated enough to fit it, mine didn't need to go so low to set the light off. I fit a 255/80 under a non-KDSS none tow package truck. Those that are partially deflating their oversized spare to fit factory location.

Yes with body cutting
I run 255/80R17, 0 offset wheel with 2" lift. I only have 10-15 mm clearance to the pinch weld when turning. This tire are 22 mm larger scrub radius. So need to cut pinch weld and BMC for sure.
The scrub radius is the distance in front view between the king pin axis and the center of the contact patch of the wheel, where both would theoretically touch the road. The kingpin axis is the line between the upper and lower ball joints of the hub.Do you mind educating me on scrub radius?

Without getting too technical the biggest difference for 4X4 vehicle is how bigger tire and wheel offset impact vehicle fitment.
For example comparing stock tire to popular 285/70R17 with popular - 12mm offset result it 54 mm more scrub radius compared to stock.

No, I have them set aside if I ever Fab up something heavy like a rear bumper.Did you use any of the thin spacers that came with the SSO kit?
Didn’t know silverados had the same lug pattern as the GX. They are the same as my method wheels with 285/75r17 tires.Rather than create a new thread, figured I’d post here for some help.
I found a used set of Method wheels and not sure if they’ll fit. The seller had them on a Silverado but they look like GX470 specs:
- Wheel Size: 17x8.5
- Bolt Pattern: 6 on 5.5
- Offset: 0
- Backspace: 4.75
I’m planning on running them with 265/70/17 AT tires on stock suspension.
Will I have any issues? Thanks in advance.

My driveway has an incline, but the GX has a 0.75-1" rake. When loaded for camping it is level.
