Oops forgot to mention..the pin with the green wire is from Gary's new harness. Thx!

I would be willing to be the ARB guinea pig
As for which version...Right now I have the disco mod but honestly, with the side marker becoming a turn signal I'm thinking having the ARB lights become marker only would be fine. I'm thinking having 3 lights blinking up front might be overkill
Let's see what the consensus is unless Gary wants to offer 3 different versions. I'm happy to test all 3 versions if he wants to develop them.
Worked on mine today and found the terminals/pins are definitely a different style. The pics I had posted previously were from an earlier 80-series, and match the marker lights (and what Gary provided). This means you guys with earlier models won't have any trouble.
It looks like the break point for these lights/harnesses is between FJ80 ('91-'92) & FZJ80 ('93-'97). My thought is that Gary may have to offer a couple different options based on year. I am willing to send the 2 different stock harnesses I have to Gary, but I was thinking it might be best to let Stu continue to be the contact person on this.
I too mangled my turn signal connectors and even went so far as to order new ones..hoping the pins would fit. I'm doing this on a '97 LX450. The pins aren't clicking in and so the connectors aren't clicking together fully.I had an extra harness from replacing a window motor and it had the same connector. I took a shot of the pins for comparison side by side. I'd be happy to buy another harness with the right pins once this subtle difference is solved. In the meantime I put some dielectric grease in the connector and zip tied them together. So far so good. Pics attached for your reference. Hope this helps.
Would it be acceptable to ship the harness back to Gary for him to replace the pins?, I am ok paying shipping back.

Ok that was the easiest install I've had yet on my cruiser. 30 minutes start to finish. Use a precision/jewelers flathead screwdriver($2 a set at harbor freight) and you're good to go. Replaced the bulbs with LED and a new turn signal relay. Great safety mod'

SUUEEET said:Pins fit great with a little patience. Use a small flat jewelers screwdriver to release the clips. Pulled them through with a needle nose pliers until they clicked. Don't know of cruise control issues with the relay. Will have to check it out.
Next stop, snorkel install.

Just got back from a road trip and no issues with the blinkers even with the pins not fitting 100%. Next to my bumper and sliders this is my favorite mod so-far.
I'm curious to know what 1157 LEDs you guys have used. In the past I've struggled to find the right ones that are bright enough with a wide pattern and have gone back to regular bulbs. Any recommendations and pics would be appreciated. Thx!
