I’m told these seats were offered in the Pontiac G8, which was actually built in Australia. Website says DOT-approved. Leather on you, back and sides “PU leather.” Adjustable lumbar on US version.

Personal experience / review links welcome.

*Search "Huracan" in this forum and you'll find a bunch of installs/reviews/happy customers re: their made-in-Texas tailgate lids.*

Company just started selling into US aftermarket. I have not seen or tested these seats myself. I first heard of them when I came across this post in Box Rocket’s thread:

Took them in a short about 800 mile trip and they are super cool .. they hold you right, material is ( so far ) good other than bein not breathable .. they are perfect for the price tag ..

If they are made for the Australian market, i doubt it.
Very small portion of the population lives in areas where heated seats would be a useful benefit.
Original Post updated - March 11.
Updates will continue.

Are these heated?

not the ones I got .. and not advertised in their web ..

I would recommend if possible the powered ones since the recline function it's by a nob and pretty slow .. ( almost imposible in Cleopatra as they are very tight within 76 cab )

if you are not moving them to the recline position very often ( me ) manual are perfect ..

Group Buy Now Live.
(fingers crossed)

Note that these seats will mount in any vehicle a Planted bracket will bolt into, assuming there's ample room in the vehicle.

I had them in an 80, very difficult to adjust the backrest without moving the seat forward. If you can bolt the passenger seat on the drivers side it'd be fine.

Hunh. Thanks for the info. Though I literally can’t remember the last time I adjusted the angle of my seat back. Kind of set it and forget it for me. I DO remember the last time I adjusted my overall seat position on the rails--because that's the last time the stock power driver's seat ever moved. The stock seats were always too heavy, too slow, and too ripped for my tastes. :) Gimme a good manual any day...

I've sat in these seats, there very nice.
Good to know. Would you happen to know anyone who might provide a review--or who's already written one somewhere?

Care to leave a general review?

I only used them to test drive while I was building the car, ended up fixing the electric seats (rare and "cool" over here) and put them back in.

That said, I spent a lot of time in those seats in a commodore and never had an issue, always comfy, supportive under spirited driving conditions. The seat base side bolster foam gives out after a while, common issue, but I think that's caused by people sliding across the seat during egress out of a low sedan.
