Here's the spot I mentioned earlier where the skid hangs off of the cross member. I will attribute this simply to the spacers I used to fit over the slider u-bolts. It's snug, not likely going anywhere, but I should find a spacer to put in there to keep it solid.

Due to this, I'll upgrade my "C" grade to a B-.

Handful of washers will correct that

I see rust o_O
What are the chances that this crossmember on your truck is bashed in a little?

You shut your mouth.

There's definitely a little rust where it's been bashed and gouged. But most of what you see is probably clay staining. I did a few mom-style finger lick and rubs while I was under there today just to make myself feel better about it.

100% chance.

Dammit now I'm gonna have to scrub my chassis before GSMTR.

Yep. That thing is a rust bucket.

That's it. I'm spending the weekend installing bumper and scrubbing frame.

You should come over.

I think I have the video from when he bashed it in.

Which one's that? I can think of a few where you've gotten me in questionable positions.

Give me dimensions and I can machine one for ya.

I think I know that one. I can't find it either.

I've got this one where I did my bumper dirty. I think this was in Alabama though?

That ain’t bad. That’s why I’m keeping my hitch receiver on until I get a bumper. It scrapes a bit but no harm.

Cool. I can always face what you got to size too. I’ll likely go on the ride on the 25th so I can drop em off then too if need be.

Flatland lol- we run that on moto’s not 4x4’s. Its pretty tight back there even as a jeep trail- I give you props for running your 100 up that rutted out overgrown skinny azz goat track.

Better get cleaning- theres a tech inspection when you check in at at the event- the primary category for 100s is cleanliness
