I would like to point out 1 very important related fact :
@Coolerman is a long term mud member and a Solid one at that
he has quick turn around time to meet all 60 series
Folks here with fusible links issues
Where he is not a SUPPORTING VENDOR , only. a
Private member so to speak he has has a live brick and mortar land cruiser electrical specialty shop
For related restore and repairs long before I ever even joined MUD many years ago ...
lasty for those are not aware he gives freely his
Experience , time , electrical input and solves

My personal view he is your best fusible links option

Fusible link connections are the cables/wires still available. Part numbers for them. Plugging the green part and the clear part into the male and female connection is what I'm talking about.

like Matt said, @Coolerman does an impeccable job. Need links with 3/8” ring terminals to fit on new military style terminals and he was able to fix them up and get me set with what I needed. Great work and fast turn around.

I have a kit that replaces the FJ60 fusible link with fuses that you can find in any auto parts store. It’s plug & play and takes about 15 minutes to install - zero electrical experience necessary. You can find it here.
I also have several used, original fusible links and I’d part with one.

Like I said I also have several good used original fusible links if you’re interested in those.
Unfortunately they are discontinued, so staying married to those is going to become increasingly more difficult as time goes on.
