I am needing a new front bumper on my 86 4skin. It had a bumper built by the po that weighed about 500 pounds and was super wide. I was thinking of making one, but I am pretty sure it wouldn't look as clean as an ARB,Allpro, marling, etc. What bumpers are you guys running and what do you like/dislike about them?

i have a warn front bumper on my 90 extended cab pickup and i love it. theres nothing that i dont like about the bumper, and i like the look way better than the arb because its not as square.

I really like the look of that. Too bad they don't list one for my 86 :(

I am running an All-Pro winch bumper. I am going to have more tube added this summer to cover the corner lights and a small stinger.

I lucked into a used what I think is an older TJM bullbar. Light weight, nice for my 85 Xcab scout truck and has a winch mount if I decide to upgrade. Only a couple clams too.

Those are some nice looking bumpers. KLF, is that bumper pretty heavy? I really like the look of it. It isn't too bulky and has some good lines. I have a buddy with the allpro bumper but it didn't really take much abuse before it was bent up.

I have the TJM T-17 and I like it. It was cheaper than many of the others and it has held up well to rocks, trees, etc. My only complaint is the shackle hangers are low but I plan to do something custom with those in the future. Here's a pic:

the first thing i did when i saw that truck was yell GUH! that is a crazy bumper and cage. i though about building my own bumper i've even got some decent drawings of what i wanted to do but i'm thinking now that i might as well just buy one.

The cage held up just fine thank-you very much.

And the bumper held together just fine on the self rescue!
