bugsnbikes, that thing is awesome, I'm looking to design something like that in the (far) future. What size tubing did you use? Any info on the cut outs under the lights for the spindles?

My longer term report on the Bumpit bumper:

- Solid and beefy: provides excellent protection and a pretty good departure angle for the 80.

- Good looking design: I get a lot of compliments.

- Tire swing out design and latch are sub-optimal. The carrier tends to "walk" outward and lock up the latch. And having the lock pin, on the right side of the tire with the latch on the far left makes it tedious to open.
 
Had mine custom made by a guy who is starting up a bumper fabrication shop. This was his first attempt at tube bumpers haha.
