For sale- CM 622 Chain Hoist- 3 ton model with 18' of lift, $250. Somebody needs to pick up something heavy.
Someone should snatched it up, it must be a special edition, according to the posting it has a "3.0 v6" in it, in an 80 in 1996....
Would make a good parts truck or a donor for a franken80 project.
Check with David to see when would be convenient to swing by his place. We bought a 79 for parts when we were rebuilding my 40. Lots of parts that will probably fit yours still there.Think there is a license plate bracket and swing out tire carrier there, just got to dig for them. The only thing there I wont part with are the extra fenders. Anything else I'll make you a good deal. might not be a bad deal for someone mechanically inclined. Title isn't a big deal. In SC you can buy a vehicle over 10 years old on just a bill of sale and then apply for a title. i would check with the local PD and have them run the vin # before I towed it off though.
Actually, I'll be at David's house this weekend; he's hosting a HAMOM. He is going to help install a rear Aussie Locker on my 80! Yes, I'll finally be able to make it up some trails without y'all pulling me with a winch
Thanks for letting me know about the tire carrier - I'll see if I can pull it when I'm there. I found the license plate bracket for this vehicle, but I'll check yours out to see if it's in better shape… This one looks a little rough. Thanks, Scott!
Agreed, I'd it runs it'd be an awesome project to build a wheeler out of. I go back and forth on what I'd like to build to wheel when the time comes and a cut up 80 is on the short list. Not sure about the title. I think in TN you have to apply for a lost title and I have no idea what that process is, but for $1,500 I might have to check into it.
It's sold from what I understand.
I have a few 40 frames, doors, (front and amby) a 55 gas tank a 60 gas tank (new), gas tank cover, radiator cradles, wheels, a 3 speed transfer case, an AA chevy auto transmission to 3 speed adapter with cross member.. not sure what transmission it is, plastic fj40 gas tank (no leaks and no smells when driving)...and some other stuff for sale.. pm me or email me if you see anything you might want.
thats the one I sold last year or so for $2700... it has a new steel tailgate gear and SS battery tray... came from UGA...
